NAME briefly interrogated him and learned he had been sent by a nearby temple to investigate the area much like NAME was. NAME soon continued on, armed with new knowledge about other inhabitants of the graveyard that he/she might encounter.

(found in Tomb of the Lizard King, encounter #5) (found in The Haunted Streets of Agamentar, encounter #1)

Immediately complimenting the soldiers on a job well done, NAME introduced himself/herself as a security consultant hired to test the alertness and efficacy of the local constabulary. With hearty handshakes all 'round, NAME returned the "stolen loot" -- minus his/her commission, of course. In the pale glow of the moonlight, NAME saw the festering form of a zombie as it slowly shambled toward him/her.

(found in Tomb of the Lizard King, encounter #5)

(found in The Haunted Streets of Agamentar, encounter #2)

Not wanting to touch the disgusting wretch directly, NAME wiggled the nearest gravestone loose and bashed the zombie with it repeatedly, until it was naught but shattered bones. Just before pressing on, your adventurer noticed something sticking out from the tangle that used to be the zombie's ribcage. Not wanting to touch the disgusting wretch directly, NAME began running perpendicular to the creature's approach. Not looking where he/she was going, he/she tripped over a gravestone and landed in the mossy ground face first. NAME did not fail to notice the gold piece lying mere inches from his/her nose, and pocketed it before finishing his/her escape.
  • 7 damage
  • 20 XP

After burning off thick layers of cobwebs and brushing away a number of moldering bones, NAME uncovered an ornate stone sarcophagus. Surely it must have been holding treasure and other secrets.

(found in Tomb of the Lizard King, encounter #5)

With a great heave, NAME shoved the heavy lid off the encasement to reveal a desiccated corpse and a few interesting baubles. She/he left the stiff and took the shiny. Despite his/her many valiant attempts, NAME was barely able to budge the lid at all. He/she mustered all his/her strength for one last desperate push, shifting the stone slab just enough to release a horrible stench -- and hundreds of tiny spiders. After squashing the entire swarm, NAME squeezed his/her spider-bitten arm into the sarcophagus and pulled out a few shiny gems.
  • 6 damage
  • 33 XP
  • 9 gold

Rounding a turn in the dungeon, NAME was confronted by a large locked door.

After a hard-fought battle, NAME killed the smugglers and took the goods they'd stashed in a well-camouflaged hole.
  • 6-12 damage

NAME noticed a tiefling skull nestled amongst dozens of dragonborn skulls tucked in a niche along one corridor. "So, how'd he die?" NAME bluntly asked the noblewoman, who looked up, blinking away her tears in bewilderment. NAME uprooted a small statue and used it like a pile driver to smash his/her way through the flagstones and into the musty room below. There, he/she found some glittering rewards for her efforts. NAME dragged a small masonry stone up onto the dais and tried to bash his/her way through the flagstones. Tired out after just a few attempts, the only thing NAME managed to smash was his/her fingers.

After burning off thick layers of cobwebs and brushing away a number of moldering bones, NAME uncovered an ornate stone sarcophagus. Surely it must have been holding treasure and other secrets.

(found in The Haunted Streets of Agamentar, encounter #2,3,6,8)

(found in Tomb of Terror, encounter #5)

With a great heave, NAME shoved the heavy lid off the encasement to reveal a desiccated corpse and a few interesting baubles. He/she left the stiff and took the shiny.

Already a little spooked by his/her surroundings, NAME nearly jumped out of his/her skin when a feral-looking hound padded in front of him/her and howled. When s/he noticed the pack of wild-eyed mongrels charging toward him/her, NAME knew it was time to leave.

(found in The Haunted Streets of Agamentar, encounter #5,9)

NAME was inside an old crematory sifting through knee-deep ash and bone when some of the skeletons arose and clawed him/her.

(found in The Haunted Streets of Agamentar, encounter #7,8,9)

NAME shoved the skeletons aside and tossed a few partially melted trinkets in his/her pack. He/She then searched around the bottom edge of the chimney for a handhold. Just as the skeletons caught up to him/her, NAME hauled him/herself up and began the long climb to safety. NAME was able to take refuge in the furnace's soot-filled chimney, but didn't have the muscle to climb out. So he/she waited until the skeletons settled back into their dusty hiding places before dropping down and quickly getting out of there.

NAME quickly slammed the tomb's sturdy door and braced himself/herself against it, summoning all his/her might to hold it shut. When the relentless pounding of the undead finally stopped, NAME grabbed his/her treasure, flung open the door, and sprinted out into the sunrise. With great effort, NAME pushed the tomb's door back into place and leaned against it until his/her strength gave out. Grabbing a few small pouches of coins from the orcs' corpses, NAME got out of there before the ghouls smelled him/her. The crypt was dark, and the footprints left in dust on the floor seemed to have been disturbed recently. NAME shoved the skeletons aside and tossed a few partially melted trinkets in his/her pack. He/She then searched around the bottom edge of the chimney for a handhold. With a great heave, NAME shoved the heavy lid off the encasement to reveal a desiccated corpse and a few interesting baubles. He/She left the stiff and took the shiny. Despite his/her many valiant attempts, NAME was barely able to budge the lid at all. He/she mustered all his/her strength for one last desperate push, shifting the stone slab just enough to release a horrible stench -- and hundreds of tiny spiders. NAME noticed a trio of dubious men huddled next to an open mass grave, picking through and arguing over the division of a small collection of shiny trinkets.

NAME strode up to the filthy vultures, WEAPON in hand, and explained that they could cut him/her in on a share of the take or join the people in the hole, forfeiting it all. NAME stomped up to the graverobbers and tried to look menacing as he/she demanded they hand over the loot -- or else.
