A large beast thundered through the jungle toward NAME. It was an amazing creature with a spiky armored back and a brutal-looking mace-like tail.
| |
Weaving and dodging, NAME avoided the behemoth's tail and ATTACKED it several times, mostly on its softer underside. Its teeth sold well back in town.
|
'NAME planned to weave and dodge, but put too much emphasis on weaving and got clocked in the back by the behemoth's spiked tail. It bellowed with pride and, in the creature's moment of hubris,NAME ATTACKED and killed it. Its teeth sold well back in town.

The ultimate prize, the large bony plate from the back of the bloodspike behemoth, was right in front of NAME. Unfortunately it was still attached to the fierce beast. The tree from which NAME was observing the beast put him [sic] just inches away from the plates when the creature wandered closer to graze on a succulent plant nearby.
| |
NAME jumped out of the tree landing squarely on the beast's back. He/She ATTACKED the beast with his/her WEAPON TYPE before rolling smoothly off to the ground. That might be enough to fell a lesser creature, but this behemoth was only bloodied by the attack. It snapped and snarled at NAME defending itself as best it could. Even a beast as strong as this was no longer any match for NAME. It was harder to lug the plates off its back into town than it was to defeat it.
|
NAME jumped out of the tree and landed face-first in the mud instead of his/her intended destination - the beast's back. The beast snapped and snarled at NAME defending itself as best it could. He/She was able to slice a couple of plates off its back and make off with them, but the beast still remained at large.
