DragonMountain Difficulty: Level 6
They say there's a mountain carved in the shape of a dragon hidden inside the Coilspine range. The only way there lies through the Dragonjaw Dungeon. Well, that's what the dwarf trying to sell NAME a map to the dungeon entrance told him/her, anyway.

There was an odd formation of rocks on the ground where the map claimed the entrance was. After staring at them for several minutes NAME realized they resembled a dragon. He/She poked around at random, and when he/she pushed on the stones that represented the dragon's teeth, a section of grass sank down, becoming a staircase into the dungeon!

After about thirty seconds glowing runes appeared on all the walls, floor and ceiling. NAME got a bit of a sick feeling in his/her stomach, but after only thirty seconds of glowing the runes went dark and the door opened again. The scene outside was no longer the inside of the dungeon but instead a striking vista of dragon mountain!

Realizing he/she would be exposed in a flat area and defenseless against the dragon's breath weapon, NAME made a break for a narrow crack in the cliff wall some thirty yards to his/her left.

Glancing over his/her shoulder, NAME saw the dragon swooping down and closing rapidly. He/She made it to the gap just in time as the dragon strafed the open ground with a gout of flame from its toothy jaws. Knowing he/she had to take every opportunity to win, NAME darted back out of the gap to face the dragon's tail as it passed.

Glancing over his/her shoulder he/she saw the dragon swooping down and closing rapidly. Before he/she reached the crack, the dragon opened its toothy jaws and released a gout of flame. NAME hit the deck and avoided taking the brunt of the blast, but was pretty badly roasted. Knowing he/she had to take every opportunity to win, he/she struggled to his/her feet to face the dragon's tail as it passed.

Grabbing his/her grappling hook, NAME swung it in a big arc and threw it at the dragon's tail.

It looped around twice and caught. NAME ran the rope around the lone boulder just past the crack three times before the slack ran out. The dragon snapped to a halt in mid air and came crashing to the ground. The rest of the fight wasn't easy, but eventually the young black Adamantine Dragon had been ATTACKED repeatedly. The grappling hook proved even more useful in reaching the dragon's treasure. It missed by a mile and clanked into the dirt with a dull sound. Hollow and empty, like NAME's skull would be if he/she were still there when the young black Adamantine Dragon came around for another pass. He/She practically sprinted all the way back to the dungeon. The next day, NAME sold the map to Dragonjaw Dungeon to another adventurer.
